End of exams, a holiday and another departure

Hey all, exams are over!!! This is so cool! Holidays are here for a month and, as Shwee said, no homework. WOW! How I can SO relax. =D Nevertheless, I shall be busy with stuff. There's this class barbeque on the 18th (still being planned) and yeah, I'll be the next Cafe departure when I go to KL tomorrow morning at 9.30 am. Anything you guys want? Haha, classmates have requested bubble gum. Yup, yup. Oh well, holidays are here. Coolness.

Having my CLB orals this monday..pray for me!! ^_^ *Boo to yessie* erm..bio prac is on the 25th and after that is a continuous exams period..and then there are SATs next year and etc..sighs..finally saw and chatted with Chris online..he and I got the exact same results..hah..oh well..studying and studying now..see you guys around soon..oh and btw..we need to go out after exams or something...take neoprints and go shopping!!! ^_^ see you guys soon!! Episode 2: Man Down

Hey all, will be updating this for Yessie since she missed it. Aight. Uhm, I'll bang out my whatever first. Today was nice to just REST. Haha, have been sleeping for the most part of the day. Uhm, waking up late and stuff, nice. Yeah, watched Guatemala episodes 1 and 2 back-to-back since channel 5 was showing episode 1 on at 12 and then the satelite transmission of episode 2 at 1pm. Had fun watching it straight.

Anyway, Yessie, here's the synopsis.
Reward Challenge: Web over water.
Task: Tribes have to race across the net, then go to the giant web by climbing on the underside. Grab one back, drop into the water and go back. The first tribe to get 8 bags wins. If you drop, go back to the start then the next person will go.
Performance: Both tribe did well, until Rafe dropped and he cannot climb up the ladder to go back to start. He kept falling down into the water. Then Judd dropped into the water so they were even. But Brianna slowed Yaxha down again when she also dropped. It was almost a tie but Blake ran back before Jamie to make it a Nakum 8.
Reward: Fishing gear.

Immunity challenge: (I forgot the name)
Task: 8 people from each tribe will be tied by different ropes to one main rope. Each tribe will try to pull the other tribe to the other side and grab their flag. 15 minutes is given, after that, they will move to individual round where the person who is closest to the flag wins one point for their tribe. Just think fo it like tug-of-war.
Performance: Both tribes were dead-locked for the first 15 minutes. Then they moved to the individual rounds. Round 1; Gary versus Judd. Judd reached the rope he can use to pull himself to the flag, so Gary got up and ran to pull Judd away but only let Judd get nearer the flag so Judd won. Round 2; Jamie versus Brandon. Soemthing similar as round 1. Round 3; Jamie versus Judd. Jamie started to pull Judd towards the Yaxha side, but in the last few seconds Judd used his strength to pull Jamie over to the Nakum side letting Nakum win immunity for ONE day.

Interesting points:
-Danni told Brian Gary was an ex-NFL player
-Gary LIED to his tribe, saying he never played football professionally
-Lydia caught some fish without the gear (Yaxha didn't have any gear)
-Lydia was supposed to be voted out, but Brian didn't want Lydia to go so he asked her to speak to everyone about why she should stay
-Jamie wanted to vote out Stephenie
-At tribal council, Yaxha voted out Morgan in an 8-1 decission

hi all.whew..finally finished packing.but gee,i am a bit suay though.lost one of my fave watches,a CD that i am still unsure about its existence,and one of my mangas (comic books).oh well.btw that was a great reunion!thanks ppl ^________^ too bad no neoprints though.and yes,sorry Shwee for the "Exothermic Reaction".i understood how you feel ~_~ i dont think i would dare to do the same to my friends but i would enjoy watching it :D let's meet up again some other time. well,this is my last post of the week.wont be back til next Sat.but if i can try to get to a comp with internet connection somewhere in Indon,i'll surely post!gaah i'll be missing my tv shows T_T so..yeah,take care evryone,and i'll say this again,do NOT fall sick,all the best,and y'all will be missed *huggies*

Thankful

Hey everyone! I am kinda excited now. Well, thankful if anything.

1) There was this plane that had to make an emergency landing at LAX today and they landed safely, no fire, no injuries at all. :D

2) My online friend's baby should be arriving soon! 21st September should be baby Dakota's birthday if all goes well. I am just so excited for him! Ahhhh.

hello everyone!tonight i bring y'all a piece of news.i dont know how much of a surprise this is to all of you,but is sure is one hell of a shock to me.

Ghim Moh Secondary School is merging with Jin Tai Secondary School in 2007!!!

the new location's gonna be at West Coast Road (at the junction after Ginza Plaza going to Clementi MRT).man..i might be seeing teachers around clementi now..^^; interesting huh..they say it's 2.4 km from Ghim Moh.hahah.so perhaps it's around 3 km to my house :D

Note: this news was sent to me by Mr.Chua (dont start laughing off or yadda yadda this n that --;).i did NOT made this up..lol.

Stupidity

Sorry y'all if I am in a foul mood. Gotta do with some stuff at home. RIght, anyway, long story short, I was hoping for the Canon IXUS camera. My parents say they aren't gonna get THAT, but a powershot (suppsoedly better). So, yeah, I don't want a powershot. Sorry to Boner, but the powershot looks ugly. Yeck! Okay, even Boner, a professional photographer, chose the IXUS over powershot when I asked his opinion okay? Right now I am just seeing this as another way my parents want to control me. Oh, to hell with it. I'd better stop before this becomes anymore abusive. Nevertheless, I said if it ain't IXUS, forget it. Don't waste yer money. I am not being demanding am I?

Packing Slacking

hallo!wow,good to see y'all happy ^_^ whew.just finished most of my packing.took me 2 1/2 hrs man..*collapsed onto comp table* what's left to pack is my backpack.then my mum asked me to put some of the gifts in my suitcase (well,it becomes a family tradition that we give each other gifts when we go Indon or they come here).at first when she gave me a plastic full of it i was speechless aka (*blink blink* ..... *blink blink*).then after some modifications and stuff managed to fit 2 plastic bags full of gifts.*sigh* and now..finally i get to slack til 2.30.gonna watch Bewitched n straight after that erm..my Mum's usual drama series.darn am gonna miss my afternoon nap ~_~ and gonna eat out later.my Mum's unwell these days,so my family dont want her to overexert herself.

Jon,my apologies for yesterday.i called u rite after the argument with my parents so i may not have cooled down yet.grr i rather not elaborate whatever was in the argument.
Shwee,sorry cant go with ya to Orchard on thursday as much as i want to.my parents left me with a choice of 2 packets.

Judgement Day 1

Hey everyone! Thanks for all the well wishes and Esther, your prayers. The exam went well, I knew a lot of the stuff. Yeah, well, I think I am very excited to have this paper down. Also, I am getting a new digital camera for my birthday from my parents! An Ixus too! Haha, I am happy. Oh my, what should I do now actually? I feel very free, free to relax. Haha. I mean, I prolly shouldn't like get carried away, I still have one paper. But, just today and maybe tomorrow with our meeting. :D

Hey hey. Thanks for the well wishes Yessie. :D I hope I don't have to repeat this module next semester. Next sem seems as though it will be hectic somewhat... GEMs (general modules), new modules, whatever. Wow. Oh, by the way, I have 4 CCA points already. Hmmm.... Okay, is that good or bad? Haha.

Anyway, have completed revising each lecture individually and making my own notes for each lecture. Am gonna sleep early tonight, so, guys, please don't disturb k? My exam is at 9am tomorrow.

Thursday. Yes, confirmed to be going are: Esther, Shu Hui, Yessita and Me. SO, what would you guys like to do? Shwee, you were asking about dinner eh? Anyone else eating dinner at BK? I doubt I will eat, so, please excuse me. Erm, also depends how long we are able to stay. Since we're meeting at 5, how about 11/2 hours to 2 hours? I think that would be long enough, yet we can get back for those who have other commitments. Haiz...

Meet Up?

Hey everyone! Oh, Yessie's going off this Friday. Erm, think we could meet on Wednesday/Thursday? Preferably Thursday, after Yen Hao's paper. Haha, anyways...

Yessie and I have discussed about the Cafe headquarters and came up with the following;
Cafe Headquarters: 15 Mt Sinai Road (Esther's house)
Sub-headquarter 1: Er... West Coast Grove (Yessie's house)
Sub-headquarter 2: H5-3-10 ACS (I) Boarding School (Jonathan's house)

If we are able to meet on Wednesday/Thursday, and since Esther has yet to come over, you guys want to crash my house? Uh, keyword "IF". I think it would be okay with mom if you guys come over. Thing is, Esther, what time does yer school finish? If not, guess we'll crash our usual BK eh?

Aight, other than that, am in love with Mercy Me again. Been ages since I've heard them and yeah, they're really good. :D Haha, also, Backstreet Boys are back on my song list. Am listening to my updated MP3 song list right now (thansk to Yen Hao for the batteries) and still have 2 lectures to make notes on. But thanks goodness, Yen Hao helped me clear my thoughts on the mass media theories yesterday when we were "supposed" to be doign marketing.

HEY! I didn't say we DIDN'T do marketing. We changed resources and are meeting next week. Uh, actually, I think that is all we did about marketing, lol! Anyway, yeah, so I guess I am gearing up for my exams. Sigh. Wish me luck people! Heheh. :D I dunno, its different, these exams.Dunno what to expect either. I mean, its like, its like its not like secondary school exams (how'd you like the tongue twister?). More in depth, less guidance. Get what I mean? Lord bless me. Out!

Welcome Da Jie!

hallo! ^__^ geez. -___- this is madness.madness i tell y'all.i feel like throwing my handphone out of the window,but knowing that i'll get scolded n i cant bear losing my contacts,notes,n sms i didnt.that guy (see my previous post) sms-ed again.i reject the going out thingy n block him liao. man..am realli irritated at despo guys who is really obvious in showing their despo-ness.sigh.nt tt i dont appreciate their feelings,but still..they shouldnt really move things too fast.um..so yeah tts all my rants.stayed home today with my comp.these days bz plotting,planning,calculating,n thinking abt my so-called scenario of Prince of Tennis (anime).

Grocery Shopping

Hey all, today went out with the "ma" to go get groceries from the Clementi NTUC. Er, I know Yessie goes with her family but do any of you others go to like NTUC to shop? Kinda fun actually, haha. And, uhm, was like one of those times I get to exercise those biceps, lol! Yep, got a lot of stuff. I think you can all tell that I am high today eh? Lol. I promise, I never touched any alcohol... Must be the yoghurt. Hahahaha.

Sigh..i dont feel like being in reality right now.in fact,i dont wanna face it.i got another guy chasing after me and i dont like him that way but he's getting more and more obvious each day showing his feelings.keep sms-ing me,msn-ing me,and whenever i see his msn nick..it just irritates me.Jon knows wat am talking abt.his personal msg,'miss the feeling of love (psyched abt friday man!)'.y i dont like it?coz on fri am going out for lunch with him.he asked me out for lunch,n i thought since it's only lunch & he hasnt confessed or anything so i said 'okay'.he gonna reconfirm with me again this wk.sheesh..i dont like despo guys like this..nw i dont feel like going already bt hw to say no nw tt i say yes?God,rescue me..

The Cafe family

Us: We came together as a study group under our teacher Mr. Tan Tiong Chuan at Ghim Moh secondary School in 2004. Working towards our "O" Level examinations, we bonded together, often "camping" at Esther's house to study together. Over time, our friendship grew and blossomed, into what we now call the Cafe family. Transformed from the previous Cafe123, we "renamed" ourselves as Cafe Family to relfect our number (5 which is a prime number, that means it's strong!) and our closeness. After leaving secondary school, we spilt into different institutions but our friendship remains strong. Esther is now in ACS (International), Jonathan and Yen Hao in Singapore Polytechnic (SP), Shu Hui in Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) and Yessita in Republic Polytechnic (RP).
